I just uploaded and installed today (thank you!) and I have 3 questions to help me have this component do what I need it to do. It looks like a great component and I did a quick test and it is definitely functioning correctly.

First, take a look at the site linked below at the right column at the bottom there is a recommend box saying "e-mail this search to a friend".

www.indeed.com/jobs?q=green&l=New+York

I am trying to do the exact same thing on my website with your component.

1) I would like the recommend box to show up instantly on the right hand side of my site (instead of linking to it from a menu item). Is there a way to make this happen so that someone can instantly fill out the form and send from the current page they are on, instead of having to leave the page to go to another page and then send?

2) I would like the component to recognize the current page that the "recommender" is on and to be able to send the current url instead of a fixed site url (the example site above allows "recommenders" to send the current search page to their friend). Instead of [LIVE_SITE] is there another code that will recognize current page the "recommender" is on?

3) I would like to know how to resize the component. What file can I go into to adjust the size of the box to fit at 200px fixed width so I can put it in my right hand column?

My site is almost identical to the Indeed site in configuration.

That is it for now. I look forward to your response.

No, this feature is not supported at this moment, because there would be an extra module necessary.

No, this component ist mainly for inviting users to join the site, not to feature singular articles. To recommend articles you can use the build in joomla function you can found in the configuration of the articles (E-Mail Icon).

Winged Messenger is a component, so you can't publish it on module positions.
If you want a small design, please choose the small layout when creating a menu link to the component. You can adjust the width of the input fiels by changing the class .defbreite in ../components/com_wmessengerpro/assets/css/small.css

That is it for now. I look forward to your response.

Karen

Sorry, but I'm not doing commissoned work. But feel free, to use this component and let anybody else doing this job. Winged Messenger is licensed under GNU/GPL so it's no problem. I would be happy if you would contribute the result to the joomla community.

Best Regards
Daniel
